[Pattern] Simple Flower Square || Step-by-Step Tutorial

It’s finally Friday! Hope you all have exciting plans for this weekend!
Today I have a simple, flower square using one color of yarn! The flower in the middle can be a bit tricky, but once you get it down it’s super easy!
Depending on the type of yarn and hook used, on average this square will be around 6″ across.

What You Will Need:

• One color of any kind of yarn you like
Crochet hook recommended for the yarn you choose
Scissors
Yarn Needle (I use a metal yarn needle, but any one will do)

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• ss = slip stitch
• sc = single crochet
• beg 2-tr cl = Beginning double treble crochet cluster
• yo = yarn over
• 3-tr cl = triple treble cluster
• 3-dc cl = triple double crochet cluster

Beginning double treble crochet cluster

Ch 4, *yo twice, insert hook into your next st, yo, draw yarn through, yo and draw through the first two loops on your hook, yo and draw through the next two loops on your hook*, repeat from *to* once more working in the same st, yo and draw through all 3 remaining loops on your hook.

Triple treble cluster

This is the same as the “beginning double treble crochet cluster”, but repeat from *to* twice more working on same st, yo and draw through the remaining 4 loops on your hook.

Triple double crochet cluster

*Yo, insert hook in next st, yo, draw yarn through, yo, draw yarn through first 2 loops on hook*, repeat from *to* twice more, yo, draw yarn through the 4 loops on your hook.
