Banjo the Dog (Finished Amigurumi Project)

Hope everyone is off to a good week so far! Today I have my second Amigurumi project completed from Vanessa Chan’s, “Happy-Gorumi” book, which you can pick up on Amazon in print or digital. It’s definitely a must have, as you can see I’m working my way through the book! Check out my first project, “Oscar the Ostrich” here.

Bark Bark

This little guy (whom I might have given a double chin) is dubbed Banjo! I named him after my own puppy because he kind of reminded me of him (I have a 13 week old Boxer named Banjo – check out the image below to see him)! Banjo was conceived through the blissful binge-watching of the second season of Naruto:Shippuden (luhhhhhh Kakashi❤️).

Stitched together with a dog’s kind of love…

Banjo loves to run around the house and suction up all the leftover crumbs off the floor. He’s always down to cuddle, but only on his terms! Don’t forget the peanut butter kong treat! Banjo is made from Big Twist yarn in creme and a light brown yarn from Red Heart. I picked up the black safety eyes and the plastic black nose pretty cheap at Hobby Lobby and I used a spare piece of thick brown fabric that I had laying around my house for his spots, but I feel like brown felt would probably work better! He’s definitely a cutie that’s for sure!
